Goals: 
finish up collisions. clean up billboarding bugs.
Accomplished: 
ended up killing two birds with one stone. the initial collision problems were because of the billboarding bug. somehow my rotation matrix was also rotating the billboards position. with that fixed, it was apparent that collisions did indeed work. since then, have been cleaning up collision bugs. the bug seen today with the creeps getting stuck into each other has been fixed. it was a collision bin problem. further problems with creep movement will probably be an AI thing. I've also got rays with projectile collision working. haven't committed yet.. there still seems to be the problem with the projectiles being low. still working on that.
Reasons: 
dang the deadline's close.
New goals: 
FINISH.
Morale Statement: 
we've only got a few days let's crank this thing out.
